5-STAR HOTEL · IOS · JANUARY–SEPTEMBER 2026

The hotel's biggest booking channel was its own website.

55.4% of booked revenue came through the hotel's website—more than all other channels combined.

The booking mix that changes the conversation

Travel agents and booking platforms can bring valuable guests. They don't have to be a hotel's largest source of booked revenue.

From January through September 2026, this Ios hotel's own website accounted for 55.4% of booked revenue. All other channels together accounted for 44.6%.

The website was the leading booking channel in the property's recorded distribution mix.

What Naplify contributed

We managed Google Ads throughout the measured period and evaluated results against attributed hotel booking purchases.

The website's overall share and Google Ads-attributed booking value answer two different questions: where the hotel received bookings, and what its advertising was credited with delivering.

What the paid bookings cost

Google Ads recorded €8.91 in attributed booking value for every €1 spent.

Including applicable contracted agency charges, the managed acquisition-cost rate was 14.4% of attributed booking value. That relates to paid Google Ads activity, not to the hotel's entire direct-booking channel.

What another hotelier can take away

Your own website doesn't have to be the smallest booking channel. Here, it was the largest. Understand what your direct channel contributes before deciding where to invest next.

How these figures are measured

Results cover each hotel's stated 2026 period. Website-direct revenue share comes from the booking system, excluding bookings marked cancelled under its existing rules. Google Ads figures use booking-purchase value and purchases attributed by the advertising platform; they do not represent all direct-booking revenue. Google Ads attribution values are not subsequently adjusted for cancellations or booking changes. The managed cost rate includes Google Ads spend and applicable contracted agency charges relative to attributed booking value. It is not the total cost of every direct booking or a verified amount saved on commissions.
